Shannonside Language Centre is based in the Irish countryside in Portumna, County Galway, just where
the Shannon River flows into Lough Derg. Here people can concentrate on English language improvement
in peaceful surroundings.

Shannonside Language Centre is recognised by the Irish Department of Education (ACELS Recognition).

Shannonside Language Centre was established in 1977 and so we have long experience of English language training. Our experience is specially in training people who need to achieve a high level of English for their professions and careers.

Shannonside Language Centre is directed and managed by Jeremy Castle, a specialist in Business English training and an author of several English language teaching books.
